HIV positive Father speaks on stigmatization

A 33-year-old father-of-three, who has been HIV-positive since birth, is hoping to change the stigma surrounding the illness by revealing how it has affected his life, his marriage, and his role as a father.

Andrew Pulsipher, from Phoenix, Arizona, shared an image of himself, his wife Victoria, and his three children, aged five, three, and one, on his Facebook page earlier this month, showing that, while he is HIV-positive, his wife, and his children, are not.

The image, which features the whole family sitting on a sofa, holding up signs to indicate their HIV status, includes the caption: 'Having a negative family can be the most positive thing in your life.'

See photos of the lovely family.
