In a cute touch Alicia also had a henna tattoo of a blazing son and a growing tree drawn on her rotund belly, with adorable little baby footprints to one side, as well as a 'B' on her wrist.
The couple claim the gender of the new baby- who is due this summer - is being kept for a surprise, so the B must stand for 'Bobby' or 'Brown' rather than 'Boy' while the 'sun' has no phonetic significance.
Along side his snaps, the singer hashtagged '#best day #beautiful #blessed #family #thankfulness #baby shower', and captioned another 'My Lady and Baby'.
The child will be Bobby's sixth, from four babymommas. He also has a five-year-old son Cassius with Alicia, and three adult children: 21-year-old son Bobby Jr and 25-year-old daughter LaPrincia with ex girlfriend Kim Ward, and 26-year-old son Landon with former flame Melika Williams.
Meanwhile Bobby's sixth child Bobbi Kristina languishes in a hospital bed with what her family have claimed is irreversible brain damage.
