Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign 25-year-old Sevilla winger on a five-year contract reportedly worth £7.5million which is subject to a medical.
Aleix Vidal will undergo his medical on Monday, followed by his presentation to the world media at Camp Now.
Although the Spaniard will not be able to play for the newly crowned European champions until January 2016 due to a ban imposed on them by FIFA for breaching rules on signing underage players.
Vidal has impressed for the Europa League winners Sevilla this season after joining from Almeria a year ago and last month earned his first call-up to La Roja team.
“Barcelona and Sevilla have reached an agreement for the transfer of Aleix Vidal to the Azulgrana,” a Barcelona official statement read.
“The 25-year-old will sign for the next five seasons, until June 30 2020.”
