The 47-year-old's sudden death was announced on Saturday but now a family friend has revealed that he passed away after exercising while on the trip with friends and family.
Efforts to revive Goldberg at the gym and the hospital were unsuccessful, the friend said.
Goldberg leaves behind his wife of 11 years, who has not commented on her husband's death, and their two children. The family is now planning a service in California
